Cliff Jackson grew
up in Georgia, where his artistry began by sketching his
surroundings for his own enjoyment. Continuing to pursue his art
interests, he eventually won a scholarship to the prestigious
school of Visual Arts in New York City, and graduated there with
a degree in Fine Arts.
Cliff began
sculpting 3D relief plates, and then was commissioned by the
Walt Disney Company to do miniatures for the Enchanted Places
line of sculptures, for which he created the award-winning "Winnie-the-Pooh
Treehouse." Occasionally, he has
created larger scale sculptures for the Walt Disney Classics
Collection, in which he utilizes his skills in miniatures to
create sculptures with very fine detail. His great talent
can be seen in the 1998 villains series sculpture
Jafar, and in
Alice in Wonderland's Tea party.
