Each Walt Disney Classics Collection figurine is imprinted underneath the base with an annual production mark so collectors will know when the sculpture was produced. Each production mark is special, representing some hallmark of Disney history.  The base may also contain a backstamp commemorating a film anniversary or special event in which the sculpture was particularly created for.  An example is the "A Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics" backstamp on those sculptures that are exclusively available at each year's convention.  The annual production marks are shown below.

1992 - a STEAMBOAT WHEEL in honor of Mickey Mouse's debut in "Steamboat Willie" (1928).  

1993 - a TREBLE CLEF symbolizing the "Silly Symphonies", which won an academy award in 1932 for "Flowers and Trees."

1994 - a DANCING FLOWER from Disney's "Flowers and Trees" (1932),   the first color cartoon ever created.

1995 -  a TROWEL used by the Practical Pig in  the "Three Little Pigs" (1933). 

1996 - a SAILOR'S HAT representing  Donald Duck's hat  in "The Wise Little Hen" (1934).

1997 - a MUSIC STAND representing Mickey Mouse's first color cartoon: The Band Concert (1935).

1998 - a PICKAX, used by the dwarfs in their diamond mine, represents the Diamond Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.

1999 - a SORCERER'S HAT commemorating Mickey Mouse's role as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia (1940).

2000 - a MAGIC FEATHER commemorating the 1941 feature animated film Dumbo.

2001 - a BUTTERFLY commemorating the 1942 feature animated film Bambi.

2002 - a SOMBRERO commemorating the 60th anniversary of the feature animated film Saludos Amigos

2003 - the SINGING HARP celebrating the "Mickey and the Beanstalk" segment of the 1947 feature animated film Fun and Fancy Free.

2004 - the BUMBLE BEE celebrating the "Bumble Boogie" segment of the 1948 feature animated film Melody Time.

2005 - the GLASS SLIPPER celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the feature animated film Cinderella.

2006 - the TEACUP celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the feature animated film Alice in Wonderland.

2007 - the HOOK commemorating the 1953 feature animated film Peter Pan.
2008 - the CROWN commemorating the 1959 feature animated film Sleeping Beauty
