Just outside the gates, more tables were set up with the event farewell gifts (pictured above).  The gift was a limited edition wall or desk Haunted Mansion plaque (pictured below), entitled "Dearly Departed...".  The background of the plaque lights up using two AAA batteries.  It was created by artist Randy Noble.  The back was covered in black velvet with the event logo and an inscription: "You lived to tell...And now, unless you wish to shed your mortal soul right here at the Haunted Mansion, you may take home this treasure to prove your courage among those weak-hearted souls in the world of the living."  A certificate of authenticity accompanied the gift.

And that is when the 999 happy event goers left for home.  This surely was a successful event and surely not the last.
